My work explores psychological landscapes through the balance of abstraction and figuration. I draw from myth, religion, shame, personal narrative, that one thing I read that one time, Bible studies, sex, blasphemy, the end and beginning of the world, god Iā€™m going crazy in my studio, speculative fiction, and mythologies both real and imagined. Using intuitive forms, I navigate these themes to construct a personal mythology that reflects on contemporary conditions.
