Ahzel(b. 2001, Nanchang, China).
Ahzel is an artist whose practice focuses on the experience and emotional absence of the individual in the context of dominant culture and macro-narratives. Ahzel develops narratives around the construction of virtual selves, the flow of information, and non-linear space-time and extends to topics related to artificial intelligence, East Asian queerness, and spiritual exploration. Ahzel’s practice aims to blur boundaries through creative video, writing, installation, and photography.

Long Live! is a video installation, a love letter composed of lost cybernetics servers and drowning into endless info adventures, from the past to the future, from life to immortality, from the IRL to URL. In the post-human era, individual emotions and experience are lacking, and the individual is emotionally absent in the context of mobility and the search for belonging.
