Artist Statement: This project is an ode to life— this messy, disgusting life that both suffocates us and gives forth beauty in equal shares. I am showing you these images because I have seen in them emotions I have felt. They assemble real moments into a fictional narrative that tells a true story. I hope the work here will give you a taste of some of the many ways life has elated, wounded and baffled me.
