A young Yu
Bio: A young Yu is a Korean American artist based in New York City. She works primarily in sitespecific installation, sculpture, and film. The artist is interested in the personal and cultural translation of the Korean diaspora through fictional reimaginations of ritualistic practices and new ways of inhabiting space. The artist explores the relationship between the sacred and play and is invested in methods of translating visceral experiences into a cinematic language.
